Sister – Charge Nurse - Leading Private Hospital – Full Time - Up to £54,000 per year


A leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK is seeking a skilled and motivated Sister – Charge Nurse to join its team in the hospital's Wards Department. This private healthcare provider has a network of hospitals and clinics nationwide and is known for performing complex surgeries and delivering high-quality patient care. Role Details:
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern.
Sister – Charge Nurse - Candidate Criteria:
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
  • Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinical and managerial, with certification as a Registered Nurse and a valid NMC Registration.
  • Significant experience in acute nursing care.
  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing Studies.
  • Up-to-date knowledge in their practice area.
  • Familiarity with the NMC Code of Accountability.
  • Skills in recruitment and selection.
  • Experience in a Senior Registered Nurse or equivalent role within an acute healthcare setting.
Sister – Charge Nurse - Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily management of the hospital ward and its staff, providing clinical leadership and ensuring effective and efficient management of ward resources.
  • Promote clinical excellence and ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Enhance patient and customer satisfaction through a commitment to service quality.
  • Lead and support the nursing team to align with the clinical governance agenda.
  • Adhere to and model the standards outlined in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
