Job Title: Clinical Lead

Location: Southend-On-Sea

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to join our nursing home team in Southend-On-Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical team, ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to our residents, and supporting the home manager in the day-to-day running of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the clinical team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans to meet the individual needs of residents.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor and improve care standards.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and care staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including CQC requirements.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and families to coordinate care and support for residents.
- Oversee medication management and administration in accordance with best practices and policies.
- Participate in staff recruitment, training, and development to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Monitor and manage clinical budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Act as a role model and mentor to junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC pin.
- Proven experience in a senior nursing role, preferably within a nursing home or similar setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current best practices in elderly care.
- Excellent leadership and management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
