Job Overview
Are you a motivated Clinical Services Manager (RGN/RMN) seeking a rewarding opportunity in mental health rehabilitation? Our client, based in Reading, Berkshire, operates a mental health rehabilitation home providing nursing care for patients with acute mental health conditions. This role involves a mix of clinical and supernumerary responsibilities, offering day shifts totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a skilled workforce through recruitment, development, and performance management.
  • Effectively manage staffing, budgets, materials, and equipment.
  • Foster effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, legislation, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of clinical interventions and treatments to enhance service operations and quality.
  • Contribute to clinical governance and audit processes.

Essential Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification (RGN/RMN)
  • Full membership of NMC
  • Minimum 2 years managerial experience in a care setting
  • Highly organised with ability to perform well under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to occasionally work weekends/nights and participate in on-call rota
