The successful candidate will work within a successful organisation based in one of the world’s most renowned medical areas, known globally for excellent care and service.
Fertility Nurse Role
- The Fertility Nurse will work as an integral part of the Clinic’s nursing team, reporting directly to the Nurse Manager.
- The successful candidate will have previous experience as a registered nurse within a fertility clinic and be able to work independently.
- The Clinic is committed to providing the very best patient care, and being able to achieve this depends heavily on the care provided by the nursing staff. Hence, you will be highly empathetic and results-driven.
- Prepare for and assist with the smooth running of the clinic, ensuring a high standard of nursing care.
- Schedule patient treatment cycles, liaising with doctors to arrange prescriptions and drug administration.
- Perform basic patient assessments.
- Conduct blood tests.
- Perform nurses’ pretreatment consultations.
- Consent patients using the Clinic’s electronic consent platform.
- Communicate clinical instructions to patients.
- Teach patients how to self-administer relevant medications.
- Assist with ultrasound scans.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions.
- Dispense medications per prescriptions.
- Perform pre-operative assessments.
- Oversee post-operative recovery.
- Previous fertility experience, ideally in the UK.
- Phlebotomy experience.
- Ability to cannulate.
- Experience in monitoring patients after sedation.
- Excellent bedside manner.
- Outstanding patient care.
- Highly organised and diligent.
- Able to prioritise and manage time well.
- 23 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays)
