We are looking for a First Contact Practitioner to join our client's Physiotherapy department. This full-time role requires flexibility to cover a varied shift pattern.
Requirements:
- Chartered Physiotherapist
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines
- Understanding of the Care Standards Act and Care Quality Commission requirements
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance tools
- Strong organizational and planning skills, including risk management
- Degree level education or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Manage a clinical caseload, providing top-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment
- Offer physiotherapy assessment and treatment for relevant departments, including pre-admission and follow-up care
- Support the local implementation of national developments
- Ensure the department maintains Physiotherapy accreditation
- Stay updated on physiotherapy developments through relevant courses and maintaining a personal portfolio
