Imaging Lead - Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
- At least 2 years' supervisory experience within a multi-modality imaging department
- A broad radiographic background, with expertise in one or more specialized areas
- Familiarity with the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used
- Awareness of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability
- Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and managing a team
As the Imaging Lead - MRI, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical service delivery, ensuring high levels of professionalism and quality of care
- Ensure the provision of a responsive, patient-focused diagnostic imaging service
- Maintain communication with Consultant Radiologists to ensure effective clinical service delivery
- Support the Director of Clinical Services (DCS) in maximizing sessional use of the service
- Collaborate with the Imaging Manager, Radiologists, and Radiation Protection Adviser to ensure compliance with radiation protection standards and regulatory requirements
