Job Description: Staff Nurse (RMN)

Location: Northampton, Private Mental Health Hospital

Salary: £18.87 to £21.67 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 36 hours per week (NIGHTS ONLY)

Benefits: Good CQC rating

Experience: Minimum 12 months experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a private mental health hospital in Northampton. The hospital provides open rehabilitation for men with chronic mental health conditions, functional illnesses, and dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with chronic mental health conditions, functional illnesses, and dementia.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Minimum of 12 months experience working in a mental health or related setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
