Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse to join our team in Leicestershire. This permanent position requires expertise in Registered General Nursing (RGN) and Registered Mental Nursing (RMN), with a strong clinical background. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and supporting the overall healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, reporting any changes to the medical team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Valid RGN and RMN qualifications.
- Active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in both general and mental health nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexibility to work mixed day and night shifts.
