A leading independent healthcare provider, recognized for its nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, is seeking a Radiographer to join their Imaging department on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Radiographer – Candidate Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
- HCPC registration
- General radiographic background/training
- Familiarity with IT systems (e.g., RIS/PACS)
- Knowledge of healthcare service sector systems and processes
- Awareness of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct/Accountability
- Knowledge of Radiation Regulations
Radiographer – Candidate Responsibilities:
- Participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department
- Provide high-quality service to patients and visitors
- Perform general and specialized radiographic procedures
- Assess patients and interpret clinical requirements to determine appropriate techniques
- Undertake imaging examinations using techniques that ensure low radiation doses while producing high-quality images
