Registered Nurse - Specialist Neurological Care Centre -- Eastbourne - Starting at £22 / hour

We are currently seeking highly skilled and dedicated Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to join our client's team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that is more akin to a hospital than a traditional care home. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, managing a skilled team, and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Hours:
This is a full-time position with flexible shift patterns, working either 19:00 - 07:30 or 07:00 - 19:30. A minimum of three to four shifts per week is required.
Registered Nurse - Requirements:
·Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration (UK PIN)
·Minimum of 3 years' experience, ideally in A&E or ICU settings
·Strong ability to write care plans and manage a large, skilled team
·Proficient in bowel management/manual evacuation, catheterization (M/F/SP), PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, venepuncture, syringe driver usage, wound care, and medication administration using an electronic system
·Familiarity with MUST (Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool) and Waterlow (Pressure Area Risk Assessment)
·Right to work in the UK
Registered Nurse - Duties:
·Writing and implementing comprehensive care plans for patients.
·Performing advanced nursing procedures, including catheterization, tracheostomy care, and PEG feeding.
·Managing bowel care and conducting manual evacuations when necessary.
·Administering medications through an electronic system and managing wound care.
·Utilizing clinical tools such as MUST and Waterlow for patient assessments.
·Leading and managing a large, skilled nursing team.
·Providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of patients.
Registered Nurse - Salary
Starting at £21.50 per hour. The offer is subject to satisfactory references, a DBS check, and successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
