Job Title: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) - Days

Location: Swadlincote

Hours: 36 hours per week (Day Shifts)

Salary: Up to £21.94 per hour (with night rate enhancements)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to join our team in Swadlincote on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for a nurse with a passion for providing high-quality care and a commitment to enhancing the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high standards of clinical care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide leadership and support to care staff, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care delivery, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
- Participate in training and development activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Act as an advocate for residents, promoting their rights and ensuring their voices are heard.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a clinical or learning disabilities setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, managing time and priorities efficiently.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care.
- Must be able to drive due to the location of the service.
