Health Recruit Network are currently searching for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join a family-run care company at a fantastic Residential Care Home in the Colchester area.
This a lovely 40 bedded home that specialises in elderly and dementia care. They are a part of an organisation that puts person-centred care at the forefront of their ethos and looks to develop and support their staff. Accommodation comes in either single or double rooms and all rooms are decorated and equipped to a high standards. There is a large central lounge for residents and their guests to use and a large enclosed garden which is often used in the summer months for events and celebrations.
This is a full time, permanent role paying up to £30,000 per annum
Care Home Deputy Manager Skills/ Experience:
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience, 2+ years deputy experience in a residential home
- The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards
- The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals/ families/ visitors and staffing teams
- Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing/ agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.
