A leading independent healthcare provider, recognized for its nationwide network of hospitals and clinics, seeks a Senior Radiographer to join their Imaging department.
- Senior Radiographer - Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
- HCPC registration
- General radiographic background/training
- Familiarity with IT systems (e.g., RIS/PACS)
- Knowledge of healthcare service sector and related systems
- Awareness of College of Radiographers and HCPC Code of Conduct/Accountability
- Knowledge of Radiation Regulations
Senior Radiographer - Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department, providing high-quality service to patients and visitors.
- Perform general and specialised radiographic procedures, maintaining high technical and quality standards.
- Assess patients and determine appropriate radiographic techniques.
- Conduct imaging exams using low radiation dose techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Follow radiation protection and safety guidelines, adhering to Local Rules and Systems of Work.
