Senior Radiographer - Full Time - General X-ray/ MRI / Mammography/ (CT desirable) - Wimbledon - Private Hospital - Up to £41,500

Senior Radiographer -
·To be responsible and accountable for the development and delivery of a high-quality, cost-effective imaging service to patients and consultant users.
·To be accountable for patient safety, staff management, service improvement, and delivery of cost improvement programmes.
·To understand and implement agreed policies and procedures and maintain compliance with the Fundamental Standards of Care outlined in The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activity) Regulations 2014.
Senior Radiographer - Responsibilities
·Maintain professional development and HCPC registration.
·Ensure all policies and procedures pertaining to the Imaging Department are adhered to.
·Work flexible hours to accommodate the opening hours of the Imaging Department.
·Participate in the departmental On Call Rota.
·Perform high-quality examinations as required by referring Consultants according to departmental protocols.
·Be prepared to train and work in all areas of the Imaging Department.
·Ensure all organisational and national policies and procedures are adhered to.
·Actively promote the Imaging department to potential users.
·Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
·Oversee a comprehensive and high-quality service by monitoring standards.
·Communicate and maintain good relations with staff at all levels in all departments of the hospital to ensure an efficient and high standard of service is provided.
·Partake in departmental quality assurance.
·Ability to implement change and work under pressure.
·Undertake any tasks as designated by the Imaging Manager.
Senior Radiographer - Qualifications and Requirements
Essential
·BSC in Radiography
·Evidence of CPD
·HCPC Registration
·Wide range of clinical skills
·Relevant organisational skills in a Radiology department
·Minimum 3 years post grad experience
·Mammography / General Radiography / Fluoroscopy experience (dependent on position)
Desirable
·CT experience (highly desirable)
·MRI experience
·Member of SOR
·Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography
·Cannulation Certificate
·Stereotactic / Tomography experience
