Job Title: Staff Nurse (General Adult Nursing and Dementia)

Location: Horncastle

Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time (27 hours per week)

Salary: £20.00 per hour (Day Shifts)

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our dedicated team at our nursing home in Horncastle. The successful candidate will have expertise in General Adult Nursing and Dementia care. This role involves providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adults and elderly residents with varying needs, including those with dementia.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and assess residents' health status, documenting and reporting any changes.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Support residents with daily activities, promoting independence where possible.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure a high standard of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid NMC PIN.
  • Experience in General Adult Nursing and Dementia care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care.
