Job Description:
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse to join our team at a private mental health Hospital in Hayes. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients within our acute and addiction services, specifically focusing on individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care and support to patients with learning disabilities within an acute/addiction services setting.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and care plans.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and training sessions.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with a specialisation in Learning Disabilities.
- Current NMC registration.
- Previous experience in an acute or addiction services setting is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
