Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
A leading independent healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to join their Bedford team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on musculoskeletal care and advanced clinical practice.
Advanced Practice Physiotherapist - Candidate Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in an MSK setting
- Experience with requesting diagnostics and IRMER trained
- Comfortable referring patients for Orthopaedic surgery or surgical opinion
- Experience in training other advanced physiotherapists and physiotherapists
- Undergoing level 7 studies in a relevant area
- Injection therapy qualification is advantageous
- Independent prescribing is optional but beneficial
- Diagnostic Ultrasound experience is beneficial but not required
- Option for a split post between FCP and APP
- Manage a clinical caseload, providing advanced physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Request and interpret diagnostic imaging and refer patients for surgery or further specialist care
- Supervise and train other physiotherapists, providing mentorship and support
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Contribute to departmental goals and the delivery of high-quality patient care
