Our client, a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK, is seeking a qualified First Contact Practitioner to join its Bedford team within the Physiotherapy department. This role requires a skilled physiotherapist to manage a clinical caseload and support excellent patient care.
First Contact Practitioner - Candidate Requirements:
- Chartered Physiotherapist, member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Completion of at Stage One of the FCP Roadmap
- Understanding of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines
- Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and CQC requirements
- Experience with quality assurance tools
- Strong organizational skills, including risk management
- Degree-level education or equivalent
- Manage a clinical caseload, providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment
- Support relevant departments with patient pre-admission and follow-up care
- Assist in the local implementation of national physiotherapy developments
- Ensure department meets Circle Health Group physiotherapy accreditation standards
- Stay updated on physiotherapy advancements and maintain a personal development portfolio
