Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

Location: Nottinghamshire

Salary: £32,760.00 - £38,716.08 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (Days and Nights)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Nottinghamshire. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues. This role involves working both day and night shifts to ensure continuous care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assessing and planning nursing care requirements
- Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions
- Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures, and blood pressures
- Writing records
- Supervising junior staff
- Organizing workloads
- Providing emotional support to patients and relatives
- Tutoring student nurses
- Advising patients and relatives on a range of medical and psychological conditions
- Liaising with multidisciplinary team members
- Ensuring high standards of care are maintained

Requirements:

- Registered Nurse qualification with a specialization in Mental Health (RMN)
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration
- Proven experience in a mental health setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including days and nights
