Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team in Potters Bar, providing exceptional care to young people aged 13–18. This permanent position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £33,000 to £38,000, depending on experience, plus a £5,000 welcome bonus. You will work flexible shifts covering both days and nights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for young people with mental health needs.
- Develop therapeutic relationships with patients to support their mental health and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment plans.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Experience working with young people in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
