Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Derbyshire. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with learning disabilities during night shifts. This role requires a professional with skills in RMN (Registered Mental Nurse), RGN (Registered General Nurse), RNLD (Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities), and clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with learning disabilities.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient’s condition and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
- RMN, RGN, or RNLD qualification.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably with patients with learning disabilities.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Flexibility to work night shifts.
