Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at a small nursing home in Dover, specializing in care for individuals with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality nursing care and supporting residents to enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care to residents with learning disabilities.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring and assessing residents' health and well-being.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and CQC regulations.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Supporting residents in daily activities and promoting independence.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of care provided.
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participating in training and development to maintain and enhance professional skills.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse qualification with a valid NMC PIN.
- Experience in a similar setting, preferably with learning disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
