A leading independent healthcare provider in the UK has an opening for a Senior Clinical Pharmacist in its Enfield location. This role involves working within the Pharmacy Department, supporting inpatient and outpatient dispensaries, and collaborating on surgical and oncology wards. This position is part-time at 30 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern.
Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm, BSc, or BPharm)
- General Pharmaceutical Council registration as a pharmacist
- Knowledge of professional codes, ethics, and performance standards
- Postgraduate clinical diploma in clinical pharmacy (hospital) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of registration, with at least 2 years in a hospital setting
- Understanding of the Care Standards Act and CQC requirements
- GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent functional skills
- SACT training / Oncology Experience
- BOPA passport
- Provide pharmaceutical expertise for patient care and oversee medication management in the pharmacy department
- Supervise junior staff and support daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory and best practice compliance
- Conduct medicine reconciliation, discharge preparation, and oncology medication dispensing
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, attend ward rounds, and participate in clinical audits and governance
