Job Description:
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse to join our team in Sevenoaks, Kent. The position requires working night shifts and having a valid driving license due to the location. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high standards of nursing care to residents in accordance with clinical guidelines and policies.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Monitor and assess residents' health conditions and respond to medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Supervise and support healthcare assistants and junior staff during night shifts.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control standards.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Previous experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably in a care home or similar setting.
- Ability to work night shifts on a regular basis.
- Strong clinical skills and a good understanding of nursing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid driving license and access to own transport, due to the location of the facility.
