Job Title: Staff Nurse (RMN)

Location: London

Salary: £32,000 - £34,355 DOE Plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with mental health needs, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting their recovery. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and a generous welcome bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients with mental health needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with relevant protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patients' progress, identifying any changes in their condition and responding appropriately.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, promoting a therapeutic environment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and service delivery.
- Engage in continuous professional development, attending training sessions and keeping up to date with the latest advancements in mental health nursing.
- Promote a safe and positive working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and infection control measures.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification with a valid NMC pin.
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, managing time and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach to care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including days and nights, as required.
