Job Title: Clinical Nurse Lead

Salary: Starting at £37,000 per year
Hours: Full-time, with 1 in 4 weekends on-site and 1 in 4 weekends on call
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Lead to manage a dedicated team of RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations across prep, anesthesia, and wards to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Reporting to the Head Nurse, the Clinical Nurse Lead will be responsible for managing the team, leading training sessions, conducting 1-2-1s, and handling appraisals to promote ongoing development within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 15 RVNs, SVNs, and VCAs
- Oversee daily operations in prep, anesthesia, and wards
- Mentor the nursing team, running training programs and appraisals
- Ensure smooth clinical workflow and high patient care standards
- Collaborate with the Head Nurse on strategic initiatives
- Participate in the 1:4 weekend rota, covering both on-site and on-call duties

We are seeking an organized and driven Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with leadership experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
