In this leadership role, you’ll manage the Occupational Therapy team, promote clinical excellence, and drive innovation in neurorehabilitation.
You’ll also contribute to general inpatient rehabilitation for local NHS Trusts and support outpatient services.
Lead Occupational Therapist – The Role
- Lead and oversee the Occupational Therapy team, ensuring a collaborative and professional environment.
- Independently assess and treat clients with complex neurological injuries, creating individualized rehabilitation and discharge plans.
- Collaborate with admissions, discharge coordinators, and community therapy teams to ensure seamless client transitions.
- Monitor progress, maintain detailed documentation, and prepare reports to optimize client outcomes.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff, supporting their growth and development.
- Contribute to service development initiatives and maintain a culture of evidence-based practice.
- A passionate and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist with experience in neurorehabilitation.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of supervising and mentoring staff.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in multidisciplinary settings.
