They are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse to join their Nursing Department in Coventry. This full-time position offers flexibility with shift patterns to support both staff and patient needs.

Senior Registered Nurse - Qualifications and Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Registered Nurse Level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing Studies
• Valid NMC Registration with 18 months post-registration experience
• Evidence of recent clinical professional development
• Mentorship qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent)
• Understanding of the NMC Code of Accountability
• Strong clinical knowledge grounded in evidence-based practices
• Basic skills in workload and shift management
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A to C (or equivalent Level 2 functional skills)
• Competency in PC use, including healthcare software and systems

Senior Registered Nurse - Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will:

• Ensure consistently high standards of patient care in line with operational policies and procedures
• Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction through dedicated, individualized care
• Act as a mentor and advocate for junior staff and, when necessary, assume leadership during shifts in the absence of senior team members
• Advocate for patient safety and demonstrate courage in addressing care concerns
• Adhere to NMC and HCPC professional conduct standards
