They are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse to join their Nursing Department in Coventry. This full-time position offers flexibility with shift patterns to support both staff and patient needs.
Senior Registered Nurse - Qualifications and Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Registered Nurse Level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing Studies
- Valid NMC Registration with 18 months post-registration experience
- Evidence of recent clinical professional development
- Mentorship qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent)
- Understanding of the NMC Code of Accountability
- Strong clinical knowledge grounded in evidence-based practices
- Basic skills in workload and shift management
- GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A to C (or equivalent Level 2 functional skills)
- Competency in PC use, including healthcare software and systems
As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will:
- Ensure consistently high standards of patient care in line with operational policies and procedures
- Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction through dedicated, individualized care
- Act as a mentor and advocate for junior staff and, when necessary, assume leadership during shifts in the absence of senior team members
- Advocate for patient safety and demonstrate courage in addressing care concerns
- Adhere to NMC and HCPC professional conduct standards
