About the Role:
- Location: Newquay branch, open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM.
- Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per year, dependent on experience.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts with occasional on-call duties (e.g., 1:6 or 1:7 weekends).
- Overseeing daily clinical operations and patient care.
- Stock control, ordering drugs and consumables.
- Liaising with the logistics manager for daily scheduling.
- Ensuring smooth inpatient care and client communication.
- Reporting any equipment issues or clinical incidents to the management team.
- Supervising and delegating tasks to ANAs and SVNs.
Facilities & Specialist Services:
- Digital wireless X-ray and portable ultrasound.
- Endoscopy and laparoscopic equipment arriving soon.
- Regular specialist service days, including orthopaedics, imaging, and behavioural cases.
- Access to VetCT Teleconsulting for 24/7 referral support.
- Focus on holistic treatments and nutrition.
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with leadership aspirations.
- A proactive team player with a passion for animal welfare and client care.
- Interest in developing personal areas of expertise (Schedule 3, ECC, behaviour, or holistic care is a bonus).
