Senior Staff Nurse – Cosmetics - Up to £40,000 per annum - Full-Time

About the Role We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse (Cosmetics) to join our outstanding Inpatients Department. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will:
  • Be a positive role model, advocating for patients and ensuring an excellent experience throughout their journey.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality patient care, offering expert support for treatments and aftercare.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and Consultant Surgeons to support outpatient and inpatient consultations and surgeries.
  • Maintain clinical competency through ongoing professional development and ensure adherence to national and local clinical standards.
  • Supervise and support junior staff while contributing to the growth and development of the cosmetic service.
  • Uphold governance frameworks and manage delegated responsibilities in the absence of the CNS.

Skills and Experience Required To excel in this role, you’ll need:
  • First-Level Registered Nurse qualification with evidence of CPD and Revalidation.
  • A healthcare degree or equivalent.
  • Experience and knowledge in a surgical nursing environment.
  • Skills in wound care/tissue viability (or willingness to train).
  • Experience or readiness to train in Preoperative Assessment.
  • Proficiency in Phlebotomy, ECG, and ILS training.
  • A mentorship qualification is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A patient-centered approach and dedication to delivering outstanding care.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office.
  • Integrity, honesty, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Experience with audits or a willingness to learn.
