With over 20 years of excellence in providing high-quality care, we’re looking for a compassionate and motivated RVN to join our supportive, skilled team.
The Role:
- Position: RVN
- Location: London
- Hours: Monday to Friday, No OOH
- Shift Patterns: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or occasionally 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- No weekends, no on-call duties
- Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
- Specialist Care: Small animals only, with a varied and interesting caseload
- Case Load: Client education, nurse consultations, handling fluids, blood tests, medication administration, assisting in surgeries, reception etc.
- Independent Practice: Be part of a close-knit team with the freedom to care for animals without corporate constraints.
- Cutting-Edge Facilities: Work with digital x-rays and specialist ultrasonography. We also welcome visiting orthopaedic surgeons to offer advanced treatments.
- No OOH/Weekend Work: Enjoy a fantastic work-life balance with a predictable schedule and no out-of-hours or weekend shifts.
- Stable Client Base: A loyal, long-standing clientele who trust us with their beloved pets. You’ll be working in a fully booked practice with plenty of variety in your daily caseload.
- Supportive Team: You’ll be working alongside an experienced vet, a locum vet nurse, and a student, providing a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Hands-on Nursing: Take part in a range of duties, from administering fluids and medications to assisting with surgeries and lab tests. You’ll be a key player in making sure our patients receive the best possible care.
- Nurse Consultations: Conduct consultations to educate clients on their pets’ health and well-being. Your ability to communicate will be essential in building strong relationships with clients.
- Busy, Varied Caseload: Enjoy the excitement of a busy clinic with a diverse range of cases and procedures. No two days will be the same!
- Experience Level: We’re open to candidates with varying experience, including newly qualified RVNs who are eager to learn.
- Skills: A passion for animal welfare, great communication skills, and a strong team player. Experience in handling nursing duties like fluid therapy, blood tests, and surgical assistance is a plus.
