Salary: £18.87 – £21.68 per hour (depending on experience)
Contracted Hours: 36 – 48 Hours per week
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a private mental health hospital in Spratton, Northampton. Our facility offers specialist mental health care for individuals with chronic mental ill-health and behaviors that challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with complex mental health needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans for patients.
- Offer support and guidance to patients to help them manage their conditions.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to all relevant legal, regulatory, and clinical guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Previous experience working in a mental health setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
