Job Title: Staff Nurse

Rate: £20 Per Hour (with Paid Breaks & Paid Handover)

Contract: Full Time + Part Time available

Hours: Days or Nights

Care: Elderly & Dementia

Location: Peterlee

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at our newly refurbished care home in Peterlee, which has been rated Good by the CQC. The home provides high-quality care for elderly residents, including those with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high standards of nursing care to residents in accordance with current evidence-based professional practice and company policies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring correct protocols are followed.
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document the condition and progress of residents, communicating any changes in health or behavior to the wider team.
- Support and supervise care staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
- Ensure that care is delivered in a person-centered manner, respecting the dignity and preferences of residents.
- Participate in shift handovers, ensuring detailed and accurate communication of resident information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with valid NMC PIN.
- Experience in elderly care and dementia preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
