Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the anaesthetist in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring safe and effective anaesthesia care.
• Provide expert post-operative recovery support, monitoring patients and ensuring a smooth transition from anaesthesia.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and best clinical practices.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate patient documentation and record-keeping in line with regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements:

• HCPC or NMC registration as an ODP or Registered Nurse with anaesthetic/recovery experience.
• Experience in a theatre environment, covering both anaesthetics and recovery.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-care skills.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
