Registered Nurse – Day Unit - Prestigious Private Hospital – Wimbledon Area – Up £39,900 – Full time


Position Overview:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse – Day Unit to join our dynamic Theatres team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a high standard of professional practice and clinical care. Collaboration with the Nursing Team is essential to foster a positive working environment and uphold a supportive learning atmosphere within the operating department.
 
Registered Nurse – Day Unit Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage the nursing care of patients in accordance with the policies of Prestigious Private Hospital, ensuring appropriate use of resources and patient safety.
  • Participate in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of care programs, providing specialist advice within the clinical area.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient care through a systematic approach to individualised care.
  • Develop clinical practice and enhance professional competence.
  • Work and liaise effectively with consultant users and other disciplines within the hospital, striving to provide high-quality service.
  • Promote and implement the requirements of the hospital's Clinical Governance framework.
  • Provide exceptional nursing care to all patients while adhering to Prestigious Private Hospital’s policies and procedures.
Registered Nurse – Day Unit Requirements:
Qualifications and Knowledge:
  • Registered Nurse (Adult), Part 1 of the NMC register.
  • Teaching and mentoring skills (desirable).
  • Basic computer skills (desirable).
Experience:
  • Mentoring experience (desirable).
  • Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience.
  • At least 6 months of continuous post-registration surgical experience.
Skills and Aptitude:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity, and effectiveness at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Numerate with good organisational skills.
  • Conversant with current professional issues and relevant research (desirable)
