Key Responsibilities:
- Anaesthesia & Monitoring: Carry out anaesthetic induction, maintenance, and monitoring of patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Medical Nursing: Provide high standards of care to hospitalised patients, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinary team.
- Nurse Clinics: Run nurse-led clinics for services such as weight management, post-operative care, flea & worming advice, and puppy/kitten socialisation.
- Surgical Assistance: Assist the veterinary team during surgeries, ensuring all instruments and equipment are ready and sterile.
- Client Education: Advise and educate clients on pet care, medication, and preventive health measures.
- Clinical Coaching: Guide and mentor student nurses and new team members (if applicable).
- Laboratory Work: Conduct in-house lab tests, including blood work, urine analysis, and microscopy.
- Administering Treatments: Assist with intravenous catheter placement, fluid therapy, and administration of medications as required.
- Cutting-edge equipment: Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Laparoscopic Facilities, Microscope, Ultrasound, In-House Lab, Endoscope, and Stem Cell Treatment. Plus, we have top-of-the-range units and scopes!
- Excellent work-life balance: Full or part-time hours with a mix of early, mid, and late shifts. No out-of-hours work required.
- Salary up to £33,000 DOE.
