Job Title: Permanent Staff Nurse
Location: Eastbourne
Hours: Full-time, Up to 48 hours per week
Salary: Up to £23.00 per hour, with paid breaks
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in compliance with clinical guidelines and standards.
- Care for post-operative patients, ensuring their recovery process is monitored and managed effectively.
- Attend to acutely sick patients, providing necessary treatments and interventions in a timely manner.
- Manage chronic long-stay patients, ensuring their ongoing health needs are met with compassion and expertise.
- Support recuperative and convalescent patients, aiding their recovery and ensuring they receive the appropriate care and attention.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated with current nursing practices and standards.
- Ensure the health and safety of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to infection control and other relevant policies.
- Contribute to maintaining the GOOD CQC rating by delivering exceptional standards of care and service.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a clinical setting.
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
