Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Qualified Home Manager (RGN/RMN) to lead and manage our 30-bedded nursing home in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and provide the highest standard of care in a warm, family-oriented environment.
As the Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring that it runs smoothly and meets all regulatory and quality standards. You will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care, aiming to offer our residents the best quality of life possible. This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for elderly care and a strong leadership background.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
  • Manage and motivate a team of healthcare professionals, providing support and guidance.
  • Ensure the delivery of person-centered care tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
  • Take responsibility for staffing, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring quality assurance processes are followed.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure the home provides a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for all residents.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative team culture that aligns with the home’s values and mission.
Requirements:
  • Nurse qualified (RGN/RMN) with an active NMC pin.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a management role within a care home or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for providing excellent care and improving the lives of residents.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and experience in maintaining compliance.
