Staff Nurse (Charity)

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) looking to make a difference in a family-run environment? We are seeking an experienced RGN to join our caring team at a well-established 40-bedded nursing home in Newtown, primarily focused on dementia care.

Key Details:

• Location: Newtown
• Shift Options:
  • 6:45 AM - 2:14 PM
  • 1:45 PM - 9:15 PM
  • 6:45 AM - 9:15 PM
• Salary: £20 per hour
• Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Setting: 40-bedded nursing home, dementia-focused care

As an RGN in our home, you will provide essential care for our residents, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and dignity are maintained at all times. The family-run nature of our home means you’ll work closely with a supportive and friendly team, where your contributions are genuinely valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents with dementia
• Administer medications, monitor health conditions, and assist with daily care routines
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs
• Support residents and their families, providing emotional and physical care
• Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care

Requirements:

• Valid NMC Registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN)
• Previous experience in dementia care is preferred, but not essential
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful nature
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for elderly residents
