Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity in a well-established, client-focused practice? Whether you’re newly qualified or have years of hands-on experience, we’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic RVN to join our supportive and friendly team at our Tyldesey branch.

This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to develop your skills, work with a team that values your contribution, and be part of a practice that truly prioritises both its patients and its people.

Why Join Us?
For over 20 years, our independent practice has been at the heart of the local community, providing exceptional veterinary care to beloved pets and their families. We have built a reputation for excellence, not only in clinical care but also in the compassionate approach we take with every case.

At our Tyldesey branch, you’ll be part of a close-knit team, working alongside 2-3 vets consulting throughout the day. We offer a varied and engaging caseload, ensuring no two days are ever the same. From routine consultations to assisting with surgeries, patient care, and client education, this is a fantastic opportunity to utilise and expand your nursing skills in a welcoming and collaborative environment.

What Does the Role Involve?
We understand that work-life balance is important, which is why we offer flexibility in our shift patterns. This full-time role consists of 40 hours per week, with the option of a 4- or 5-day working week to suit your preferences:
  • Standard shifts: Between 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Late shifts: Two evenings per week consulting until 7:00 PM (on a rota basis)
  • Option for a 4-day week working 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Weekend rota: 1 in 3 weekends
    • 1.5 days off in lieu for working a weekend
We’re looking for a well-rounded RVN who enjoys all aspects of nursing, from surgical assistance and inpatient care to supporting clients and running nurse consultations. If you love being hands-on in all areas of practice life, this is the role for you!

Who Are We Looking For?
We’re open to newly qualified nurses as well as those with more experience. What matters most to us is your passion for patient care, your ability to work well as part of a team, and your dedication to providing the best possible service to our clients and their pets. If you’re proactive, eager to learn, and love getting stuck in, we’d love to hear from you!

What’s in It for You?
We recognise that our team is our biggest asset, and we’re committed to supporting our nurses in every way possible. As part of our practice, you’ll benefit from:
  • A competitive salary, depending on experience
  • 5 weeks of annual leave, plus your birthday off to celebrate you!
  • A workplace pension scheme
  • A supportive and friendly team environment where your skills and input are truly valued
  • The opportunity to work in a well-established, independent practice with a loyal client base and a strong sense of community
This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN who wants to feel appreciated, develop their skills, and make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners. If you’re looking for a role where you’ll be supported, challenged, and genuinely valued, we’d love to chat with you!
