About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our domiciliary care team in Epping Forest, specialising in elderly and dementia care. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate care professional with strong leadership skills and previous management experience to support the running of a high-quality care service within the local community.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager, overseeing care delivery, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with all care regulations and standards. You’ll also be part of an on-call rota to provide operational support out of hours.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the domiciliary care service.

Lead, supervise, and motivate care staff to deliver outstanding, person-centred care to elderly clients and those living with dementia.

Ensure care packages are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with individual care plans.

Oversee staff rota management and participate in an on-call rota.

Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding policies, and best practice care standards.

Build positive relationships with clients, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals.

Assist with staff recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development.

Conduct client assessments and reviews as needed.

Requirements:
Proven previous management or supervisory experience within a domiciliary or elderly care setting.

Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding practices.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Passion for delivering exceptional, person-centred care to elderly and dementia clients.

Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and work office hours.

NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards).

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
