Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £32,760 - £46,433.92 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role:
We are seeking RMNs and RNLDs of all experience levels to join our team in a purpose-built 52-bed acute mental health facility. This facility includes adult acute wards and Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), providing services to both local NHS and out-of-area patients.

We have multiple roles available for Charge Nurses and Mental Health Nurses. Whether you are newly qualified or have extensive experience, we are looking for professionals who are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients with mental illness and personality disorders. These roles provide the opportunity to lead shifts, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the development of care plans for patients in a 24/7 facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high standards of care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders
  • Develop therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Lead shifts and manage the nursing team, ensuring smooth operations
  • Mentor and support junior nurses, student nurses, and other team members
  • Contribute to patient assessments, care plans, and monitor patient progress
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation
  • Promote ethical practice and maintain a patient-centred approach
  • Lead and participate in therapeutic activities and care delivery
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring collaborative and effective patient care

  • Salary: £32,760 - £46,433.92 + £5,000 Welcome Bonus

Requirements:
  • RMN / RNLD Qualification with valid NMC or HCPC registration
  • Prior experience in mental health nursing or learning disabilities is preferred, but not essential
  • Strong leadership skills (for Charge Nurse roles) and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient-centred approach to care and a commitment to professional development
  • Flexible approach to shift work, including weekends, nights, and bank holidays
