Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse (Registered General Nurse) to join our reputable healthcare facility in Banff. This is a permanent position offering both full-time and part-time hours, with flexibility to work days and nights. Our facility prides itself on maintaining a high standard of care, as evidenced by our GOOD Care Inspectorate (CI) report.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and record patient conditions, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Support and mentor junior staff, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Engage with residents and their families to provide holistic and person-centered care.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
- Proven experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills and a thorough understanding of nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to high-quality care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days and nights.
