About Us:
This Private Hospital is a specialist healthcare provider in the areas of Fertility, Assisted Conception, and Gynaecology overlapping with fertility practice.
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative registered nurse or midwife to join our multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be required to play an active part in the day to day running of the clinic and to adhere to all the clinic’s set processes and SOPs.
All applicants must have a current RGN or RM qualification and up to date NMC registration.
All applicants must have an up-to-date CPD portfolio.
Previous experience in Fertility & Assisted Reproductive practice is an advantage but candidates without previous experience will be considered based on their attitude and passion for fertility practice and willingness to learn. Inexperienced candidates if successful will receive in-house training and supported to gain the required skills.
 
Job Summary:
As a Fertility Nurse Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the nursing staff, ensuring excellent patient care, compliance with medical regulations, and the efficient delivery of fertility treatments. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise in fertility treatments, and a passion for patient-centred care.

Fertility Nurse Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing team to maintain high-quality patient care.
• Oversee fertility treatment protocols, including IVF, IUI, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and hormone therapy administration.
• Collaborate with consultants, embryologists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., CQC, NICE guidelines, HFEA regulations).
• Provide patient education on fertility treatment plans, medications, and procedures.
• Monitor patient progress and coordinate care plans with the medical team.
• Manage staff rotas, training programmes, and performance evaluations.
• Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new nursing staff.
• Address patient concerns and enhance the patient experience.

Fertility Nurse Manager Skills:

• Excellent nursing/fertility nursing skills
• Training & experience in surgical pathways especially as applicable to IVF practice
• Pre- and post-operative care of patients undergoing IVF and Gynae procedures
• Excellent computer skills
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Willingness to learn
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ultrasound scanning including transvaginal scanning
• Nurse Consultation
• Phlebotomy / Filling-in Laboratory request forms correctly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good team player
• Commitment to excellent customer care
• Positive attitude
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy at all times, particularly when raising issues with patients
• Ability to represent yourself and the clinic in a professional manner at all times

• Ability to multi-task by participating when requires in all aspects of patient care.
