Job Description:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager - Qualified Nurse to join our team in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate of £25.00. The role is primarily supernumerary with occasional cover on the floor as required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in the overall management and operation of the care home.
- Provide clinical leadership and ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families to ensure effective communication and care planning.
- Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
- Handle any clinical issues or emergencies that arise, providing hands-on support when needed.
- Ensure the home operates within budgetary constraints.
- Promote a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements:
- NMC current registration as a RGN/RMN/
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a care home or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
