Registered Veterinary Nurse – Small Animals & Exotics - Prestigious Practice in the Newmarket Area - Up to £30,000

The Role: As an RVN, you will be an integral part of our team, providing exceptional care and support to patients and clients alike. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting in surgical procedures
  • Providing inpatient care, from routine post-op monitoring to more complex nursing cases
  • Running nurse clinics, offering advice on nutrition, parasite control, and preventative healthcare
  • Supporting diagnostic procedures such as radiography, laboratory tests, and ultrasonography
  • Handling and nursing a variety of species, including exotic pets
  • Working collaboratively with our experienced team of 5 Vets and 5 Nurses
Shift Pattern & Hours:
  • Full-time role: 42.5 hours per week
  • Shift times: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm or 11:30 am – 8:00 pm
  • Weekend rota: 1:4 or 1:5 weekends (Sat 9–5, Sun 10–4), with 3 days off the following week
What We’re Looking For:
  • A qualified RVN (newly qualified nurses considered, but ideally with 2-3 years’ experience)
  • A passionate and proactive individual with a commitment to patient care
  • Someone who enjoys working within a close-knit team and thrives in a busy practice
Salary & Benefits: 

Salary: £26,500 – £30,000 (dependent on experience)
