We’re looking for a dedicated Charge Nurse to join our compassionate team at our 50-bedded neurological care home, which supports residents with complex neurological conditions across two specialist units.
Led by a highly experienced Manager who has been with us for over three years, we’re proud of our consistent “Good” rating from the CQC and a strong reputation for delivering person-centred care.
🔍 What We’re Looking For: We are seeking a senior nurse with strong clinical leadership skills and a proactive attitude. This role is ideal for a Senior Nurse or Clinical Lead looking to step into a position of more responsibility and influence within a supportive, specialist setting.

🩺 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical care across both units, ensuring high standards are maintained.
- Lead, mentor, and support the nursing and care teams on shift.
- Work closely with the Home Manager and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Conduct audits, monitor clinical standards, and assist in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide hands-on care when required, including administering medication and responding to complex clinical needs.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external professionals.
✅ Essential Skills & Experience:
- Registered Nurse (NMC PIN required).
- Experience in a senior nursing role, ideally within a neuro or complex care setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in decision-making.
- Passion for person-centred care and continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead by example and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
