Position: Mental Health Nurse
Hours: Fulltitme and Partime Hours Per Week
Location: Edmonton, Middlesex
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum + £5,000 bonus

Job Setting:
This Mental Health service in the North London area is currently seeking a driven mental health nurse looking for a new challenge. The role involves working in one of the best acute units in the UK, dealing with complex needs and challenging behaviours daily. The facility is a small hospital comprising four wards: two medium secure (male-only patients), one low secure (male-only patients), and one acute ward (mixed sex - six male and six female patients). As a nurse joining this hospital, you will have the chance to build on your skills in either an acute or a forensic setting. You will be part of a team of highly skilled professionals delivering some of the best care to patients in the country. The team works closely together, and you will receive support from colleagues and managers to develop further in a career or speciality of your choice.

Skills and Responsibilities:
- Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
- Developing therapeutic relationships to optimize patient engagement
- Following all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
- Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
- At a more senior level, leading shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other team members

Nurse Requirements:
- Hold a relevant nursing qualification
- Be registered with the NMC
- Have satisfactory references
- Have the right to work in the UK
