Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and health monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
- Monitor and assess residents' conditions, reporting any changes to the appropriate medical professionals.
- Support residents with dementia and challenging behaviors, using person-centered approaches to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Experience in dementia care and managing challenging behaviors is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
