Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team in a private mental health hospital in Southgate. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a significant difference in the lives of individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for patients.
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with best practice guidelines.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical professionals.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and responding to any changes in their condition.
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Offering emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of patients at all times.
- Participating in clinical supervision and reflective practice sessions.
- Maintaining up-to-date and accurate patient records.

Requirements:

- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience in a mental health setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Flexibility to work both days and nights, and across part-time and full-time shifts.
